Road Bear RV is excited to showcase the unique range of places to stay while you're on the road. No matter your style, you can make your trip unforgettable. Enjoy an offbeat overnight stay with Harvest Hosts at a winery or brewery or relax with amenities at RV Parks and Resorts. For those wanting to be close to nature, campgrounds in national and state parks offer beautiful scenery, or you can go wild camping in the vast BLM lands. Whatever kind of adventure you're seeking, there's a perfect spot waiting for you.

RV Camping

Whether you’re camping in national parks, state parks, local campgrounds, or staying at RV parks and resorts, you’re sure to be near scenic wildlife areas. To secure the best spots, book or arrive early, especially during peak seasons. Apps like Campendium and Recreation.gov are great tools for finding available sites and reading reviews— Recreation.gov is particularly useful for reserving sites in national parks and other public lands.

RV parks offer full hookups, Wi-Fi, and amenities like pools and fitness centers, perfect for families or longer stays. With some planning, U.S. campgrounds and RV parks provide a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors comfortably.

Harvest Hosts

Harvest Hosts offers RVers a unique opportunity to camp overnight at over 2,000 scenic locations like wineries, farms, and breweries across the U.S.

Instead of traditional campgrounds, you'll enjoy one-of-a-kind stays surrounded by beautiful landscapes and local charm. Booking is simple through their website or app, where you can browse and reserve your spot. The best part? These stays are free, though it's encouraged to support the host by purchasing their products (like wine or farm goods). The experience is all about relaxation, meeting local hosts, and often getting a behind-the-scenes look at the farm or vineyard. While you won't find campground amenities like hookups, the hospitality and unique settings more than make up for it. Whether you're after a quiet night on a farm or a wine-tasting getaway, Harvest Hosts provides an adventure that's as much about the journey as the destination.

BLM Camping

Camping on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land provides a free or low-cost way to explore vast, undeveloped areas across the U.S.

Perfect for dispersed camping, these remote spots offer solitude and stunning scenery but no amenities. You can locate BLM campsites through the BLM website. While camping, follow Leave No Trace principles, pack out all trash, and camp at least 200 feet from water. With some preparation, BLM land offers an adventurous and affordable way to experience the outdoors.
