Yes Road Bear RV permits towing up to 1,500 lbs.
Can I bring my pet?
No, unfortunately, we don’t allow pets. If you would like to bring along your furry friend please visit our friends at El Monte RV.
Is there are minimum age to rent an RV?
Yes, drivers must be 25 years old or older to rent an RV.
What are your mileage charges?
You may prepay your mileage (recommended) at 42 cents per mile. We also allow you to pay for mileage at return for 46 cents per mile.
What time can I pick up my RV?
Vehicles may be picked-up between 12:30PM - 4PM Monday through Friday. Want to pick up on a Saturday? Saturday pick-ups before 12PM may be arranged by contacting the pick-up branch. Please note: Saturday pick-ups MUST be arranged in advance.
What time can I return my RV?
Vehicles must be returned between 8:00AM – 10:30AM Monday through Friday. Returning on a Saturday? Contact the return branch in advance to arrange your Saturday return between 8:00AM – 10:30AM.
Do I need a special drivers licence to drive an RV?
No. All you need to rent a Road Bear RV is a valid driver’s license – no special license required.
Do your RVs come with a generator?
Yes, all our RVs come equipped with generators. Generator usage will be charged at $3/hour for every hour of generator time used during your trip.
Is fuel and/or propane included in the rental?
Your RV will come with full tanks of gas and propane. Renters are responsible for filling the gas and propane tanks during your trip. Please return your RV with full tanks of gas and propane to avoid additional charges.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, there is a $1,500 security deposit which is due at pick up. The security deposit must be paid by credit card in the primary renter’s name.
I booked the RV, can someone else pick it up for me?
No, a family member or friend cannot pick up the RV on your behalf. The person who is on the contract as the primary renter must be present at time of pick-up.
Do I need to empty waste tanks and trash before returning the RV?
Yes, RVs must be returned with empty waste tanks and free of trash to avoid additional charges.
