Our History

Road Bear RV was founded in 1980 by a Swiss entrepreneur and initially operated as Road Bear International RV in Canada before expanding into the United States. In 2001, Daniel Schneider and his business partner, Horst Hagner, transformed the company into Road Bear RV, focusing on maintaining a modern fleet tailored to their guests' needs. 

Daniel sketched the first Road Bear RV design on a Burger King napkin, and since then, continuously pushed the boundaries of innovation. They were the first to introduce Wi-Fi and GPS systems in their vehicles, design rear storage compartments, and accurately measure bed lengths for improved comfort.

In 2010, thl acquired Road Bear RV, but Daniel Schneider continues to provide his expertise in vehicle purchases, sales, fleet plans, and strategies.
