You probably don't want to be trying to maneuver your RV through the Big Apple traffic on the first day so our rental location is based in South Amboy, New Jersey. Our friendly staff speak English and German and don't forget to check out our Specials page to see if we need any brand new motorhomes moved from our manufacturers in Middlebury Indiana to one of our rental locations.

Just a reminder that vehicle pick-up times are between 12.30 pm and 4 pm​ and vehicle drop-offs starts at 9 am and needs to be completed by 10:30 am.

 

Transfers are available by request only and must be reserved via the Road Bear online check-in at least 14 days in advance of the first rental day and confirmed by the branch.

Transfer will not be made available if the check-in is not completed 14 days prior to the first rental day. Transfers are not available from any location that is not listed on the check-in page.

Transfers can be scheduled from select gateway airport hotels and some public transportation points. Many airports only allow for drop off but not pick up.

Customers with reserved transfers must contact the branch 4 days prior to the first rental day to schedule the shuttle pick up time.

Transfers do not apply for Britz bookings.

 

For a Saturday pick up time, please call the branch 3 days before as the branch closes at 1:00 PM.

A New Jersey Domestic Security fee of $5.00 per day (maximum charge 28 days of $140.00) applies to all rentals picking up from this location.

Branch Transfer

General pick up time is 12:30 pm - 4 pm Monday through Friday.  Saturday pick ups need appointments. Clients cannot pick up the vehicle the same day they arrive on an international flight (exceptions: Canada & Mexico when these countries are the place of departure, not layover). Therefore we recommend spending the first night in an airport hotel or motel.

The drop-off time is between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Complete the online check-in to expedite the pick-up at our location.
